There are many ways to belong at St. David of Wales. Perhaps our doors can be symbolic of the ways that people come to our church. There's the main door on Harrison Street, which most people use on Sunday mornings (and Friday nights) to come to church. There are the side doors off the parking lot, which gets the most use during the week for meetings, classes, music practice, lunches, and more. Then there's the chapel door that people use for Tuesday and Wednesday evening prayer and for piano lessons.
If you're here, you're part of us.
Baptism is the sacrament of belonging. It is the way that many of us enter the church. Through baptism we promise to follow Jesus, and through baptism we become part of a whole family of followers that through the ages and around the world are walking the same path. If you've been baptized, you're part of this family whether you were dunked or sprinkled, as a child or an adult.
If you've never been baptized and would like to know more about baptism, please contact us. If you were baptized long ago and would like to reaffirm your baptism in a formal way, either through confirmation or reaffirmation, we have a process for that. Let's talk.
