Children of any age are always welcome in our worship. Sunday-school age kids also have an opportunity for their own worship as part of our curriculum. Parents with small children are welcome to keep their children with them, to come and go throughout the service as their children’s needs require, and to make use of our nursery as suits their child.
St. David's uses the Godly Play curriculum. Godly Play is a Montessori-based agenda-free experience to help children explore their own innate spirituality and questions about God. Teachers are specially trained in this curriculum, and our Godly Play classroom is a great place to be on Sunday mornings. Sunday school begins when church begins and children join their families for Eucharist. Contact Michelle Harvey for more information.
Our youth group is growing! Middle- and high school-age kids should stay tuned for occasional gatherings, get-togethers with youth groups from other churches, and service opportunities. Oh, and don’t forget acolyting! For more information, contact the Rev. Sara Fischer.
We are proud to be home to Hands On Art & Play Preschool. Hands On offers young children a place to explore arts, crafts and music in an environment that is exciting, safe and fun. For more information, check out their web site.
