Winter 2025
2023
- January 6, 2025: Diocesan approval and official posting of the vacancy, OTM form/Q&A’s, parish profile
- December:
- Vestry approval of parish profile, OTM form/Q&A’s, vacancy notices
- Profile team coordinates final profile draft with search team and vestry
- November:
- Search team is commissioned; begins to meet and develop their applicant review procedures
- Profile team, vestry, and newly-formed search team gather in a facilitated meeting to review first draft of the profile and share feedback/vision of the final position description ("Who We Seek") within the profile document
- Website updates to be made in alignment with new parish profile (including gathering new photos for the profile)
- October:
- Small group discussions held as follow up to survey, focusing on key priorities for the future
- Questions-on-the-wall: Invitation for feedback, via sticky-note; questions posted in the Parish Hall
- September:
- 22 September: All Parish Meeting - Profile team briefs survey results (note: see briefing slide presentation below.
- 18 September: Holy Cow briefs survey analysis to vestry and profile team
- 08 September: Survey closes, data to be analyzed by Holy Cow (Note: 80 out of 110 surveys sent were completed—FANTASTIC!)
- August and September:
- Holy Cow survey is launched
- Profile team members conduct interviews with staff, past and current leaders of ministry teams, past and current senior wardens
- Finance Committee (separate from profile team) prepares budget reports and data to support the call for a rector
- Early July:
- First meeting of the profile team is called; meeting with Diocesan Canon to the Ordinary, Rev. Chris Craun, held; research begins
- Late June:
- Diocese notifies us that we may form a profile team, and the vestry appoints a team
2023
- June 2023: Our previous rector, Kerlin Richter, departs; Priest in Charge, Dennis j. Parker+, is appointed.
