Childcare
  • For kids up to 9 years of age
  • Every Sunday 9:30 am to noon
  • In the Grace Room
Families can drop off their kids ages 9 years and younger in the Grace Room during adult formation activities before the service as well as during the 10:00 am service. There are 2 childcare workers with the kids at all times. Toys and art supplies are provided. If you have any questions, please contact Cleo Mozena at [email protected].
Godly Play
  • For kids 3-11 years old
  • Every Sunday during 10:00 am service
  • In the Godly Play Classroom (Room 7)
What is Godly Play?  It is not your traditional Sunday School curriculum, where adults are the teachers explaining Bible lessons to the children, then assigning predetermined worksheets or crafts.  Instead, “It involves children and adults, as guides, moving together toward fluency in the art of knowing how to use Christian language to nourish their moral and spiritual development.”  (Berryman, J.W., The Complete Guide to Godly Play, Volume 8, pg. 7.) It is a discovery method of learning, where children are invited to explore and wonder about Scripture, then express what they think and feel through art or play.  This serious play is called their work, and it allows children to create meaning about Scripture for themselves.  For more information, you can visit the Godly Play Foundation website here: Godly Play (godlyplayfoundation.org)
